Using rotation for new bond plus mouse pressed is slowish

When you to draw a bond and attach it to an atom, holding the
mouse key down allows you to rotate that bond in the desired
direction.
It works, but it can be slow, especially if you want the direction
swapped quickly. An alternative implementation may be worth looking
into.
